Artist Statement

I have been working with digitally manipulated images as a part of my art practice for nearly twenty years. Nature, place, and time play a role in my thinking. The images provided for this exhibition are a combination of sculpture and digital manipulation. I created a body of work that was displayed without any digital parts, I took images of those pieces with the knowledge they would continue to be a part of my work in other forms as well. These are some of the first digital “remains.”
